Insider claims Manny Diaz-led Duke football's "fortunes to change"; reveals lone NFL Draft prospect for 2025 ft. Jaquez Moore
Duke, the little program that could. It’s the top academic program in the ACC that has benefited from superior coaching in recent years, with coaches that squeeze every ounce of available talent from the roster.
Yet the Blue Devils did have a pair of top-100 picks last April, including first-round pick Graham Barton.
Those fortunes will soon change.
Duke Football's NFL Draft 2025 Preview
#1 Jaquez Moore
The team’s top NFL prospect, and the only one with a draftable grade on my board, is running back Jaquez Moore. He’s a small (5-foot-9, 201 pounds) but feisty ball carrier with great vision and agility.
Moore runs hard on the inside but will also pick his spots and make his way through the clearing. On the surface, Moore projects as a third-down back at the next level, yet he must prove himself as a pass catcher out of the backfield, as he has only 11 receptions on the college level.

Old Dominion transfer Javon Harvey has his fans in the scouting community. He’s a surehanded wideout with return potential, yet he has no outstanding physical trait to his game.
