Alabama will turn attention to College Football Playoff qualification after open week
The No. 14 Alabama Crimson Tide (6–2, 3–2 SEC) has an off in Week 10. However, Kalen DeBoer's team will soon turn its focus on qualifying for the College Football Playoff when it resumes action against LSU on Nov. 9.
The Tide have already suffered two defeats this season, which sees them out of a postseason berth. Their most recent loss came on Oct. 19, a 24–17 defeat against Tennessee. However, Alabama bounced back well to beat Missouri 34-0 in Week 9.
Jalen Milroe and Co. cannot afford another loss in the closing stages of the regular season if they want to make the playoffs. The Tide can use their off in Week 10 to rest and recover ahead of a crucial few games.
Here's a look at Alabama's schedule for the remainder of the season:
- Nov. 2: OFF
- Nov. 9: at LSU
- Nov. 16: vs. Mercer
- Nov. 23: at Oklahoma
- Nov. 30: vs. Auburn
