“It’s a rhetorical question”: Warren Sapp issues cheeky response to Super Bowl Champ’s playful question on Coach Prime’s post

Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes are in the offseason after finishing the 2024 college football season with a 9-3 record and an Alamo Bowl loss to the BYU Cougars. The pictures showed Coach Prime and Shilo in an engaging sense, and Sanders' caption gave way to a question from Super Bowl XXX champion George Hegamin.

"Do we really need to answer this??😂😂😂," Hegamin commented.

Sanders' friend and Buffs senior quality control analyst Warren Sapp also joined in the banter with his comment:

Coach Prime reveals Warren Sapp's qualities that made him hire former NFL defensive tackle

Deion Sanders, the mastermind behind Colorado’s turnaround from a 4-8 season in 2023, opened up about why he brought NFL legend Warren Sapp into his coaching staff. The two football icons go way back to their college days and share a history, including Defensive Player of the Year honors, Super Bowl victories, and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductions.

In the ‘Coach Prime’ documentary on Amazon Prime, Sanders highlighted Sapp’s unique ability to inspire young players.

"I brought him in because I knew what he had inside of him since college," Sanders said. "These young men adore him. First, they see the gold jacket, but he stays in their minds with his work ethic, knowledge, and wisdom."

Sapp’s journey to the Buffaloes began with a pep talk. Sanders invited him to motivate the team ahead of their 2023 season, where Sapp found his calling in coaching.

"For someone that never wanted to do this, I am really addicted to it right now," Sapp said at the time.

Now serving as a senior quality control analyst, Sapp works closely with defensive line coach Damione Lewis.
