Jalen Milroe Stats: How did the Alabama QB perform against Wisconsin?

The fourth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide had an impressive outing and improved to 3-0 on the season by defeating the Wisconsin Badgers 42-10 on the road.

Junior quarterback Jalen Milroe was able to have a strong performance under center and kept his name in the 2024 Heisman Trophy conversation. Let's take a closer look at how Jalen Milroe performed in this game and what that means going forward.

How did Jalen Milroe perform against the Wisconsin Badgers?

Jalen Milroe had an unbelievable game against the tough Wisconsin Badgers defense earlier this afternoon. He finished the game going 12-of-17 for 196 yards and three touchdown passes, which would be good on its own in a laugher like this game was.

However, Milroe was able to step up in the running game as well and was also the leading rusher for the Roll Tide. He would finish with 14 rushing attempts for 75 yards (5.4 yards per carry) and a pair of rushing touchdowns.

His five total touchdowns in this game put him at 14 total touchdowns from the first three games of the season, and he is yet to suffer an interception.

Can Jalen Milroe win the 2024 Heisman Trophy?

Jalen Milroe has been able to do extremely well. He is the main cog in one of the most explosive offensive wheels in college football in the first three weeks of the season.

Including the Wisconsin game, he is 35-of-52 (67.3%) for 590 yards with eight passing touchdowns without an interception. In the running game, he now has 36 carries for 156 yards (4.3 yards per attempt) with six rushing touchdowns.

Jalen Milroe is one of the favorites to win the 2024 Heisman Trophy with how dominant he has been. However, it is going to be difficult to compete with the likes of Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers and Georgia quarterback Carson Beck.

There is still a lot of college football remaining to figure out which players are contenders for the top individual honor. But right now, Milroe is amongst the favorites to win the award this season.
