Jamie Foxx drops 1-word message as Coach Prime flexes on Colorado's eye-catching turnaround
"Coach Prime" is receiving praise after the No. 17 Colorado Buffaloes' recent win. The team earned its eighth victory of the season, defeating the Utah Utes in Week 12 on Nov. 16. After the game, Colorado coach Deion Sanders reposted an ESPN post on Instagram showing the Buffaloes' record in 2022 and what it is after their win.
Movie star Jamie Foxx replied in support of Sanders.
"Coach!"
Colorado (8-2, 6-1 Big 12) dominated Utah (4-6, 1-6) for a 49-24 win in a home game at Folsom Field. "Coach Prime" has led his team to a four-game winning streak, and the Buffaloes hope to keep it going and make a run at the playoff.
Deion Sanders shares motivational message after Colorado's win over Utah
Sanders also shared a positive message on X Sunday after Colorado's victory.
"I want u to really Believe in yourself and repeat this 5X. "I CAN I CAN I CAN I CAN I CAN! Stop doubting u and the power u possess & truly Believe! #CoachPrime."
Sanders' chances of getting Colorado to the playoff increased after the No. 14 BYU Cougars (9-1, 6-1) suffered a close 17-13 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks (4-6, 3-4) last Saturday. Colorado will play Kansas in an away game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 13 on Nov. 23.
Colorado vs. Kansas Preview
Colorado and Kansas are coming into the game with some momentum. In addition to the Jayhawks' win over BYU, Kansas also defeated the Iowa State Cyclones (8-2, 5-2) 45-36 in Week 11 on Nov. 9. That said, Colorado is likely to be their toughest matchup this season.
The Buffaloes' defense has played well over their last four games. Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels has struggled taking care of the football this season, with ten interceptions. Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter could play a significant role on defense as he continues to show why he's the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.
