Jim Harbaugh’s daughter Grace Harbaugh cheers on JJ McCarthy as former Michigan QB gets engaged to GF Katya Kuropas - “Congratulations🤍🥂”
Grace Harbaugh, the daughter of Michigan Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh, congratulated JJ McCarthy after he announced his engagement to long-time girlfriend Katya Kuropas.
McCarthy led the Michigan Wolverines to their first national championship title since 1997 and then declared for the 2024 NFL draft. The star quarterback popped the question to his high school sweetheart just weeks after winning the natty.
The couple shared a beachside photo on McCarthy's Instagram, featuring their golden retriever puppy, Marley, with "Engaged" as the location tag.
Adding to the celebratory chorus was Grace Harbaugh, who wrote:
"Congratulations🤍🥂"
The love story between Kuropas and McCarthy began at Nazareth Academy in Illinois around five years ago.

Katya Kuropas "sad" after JJ McCarthy declares for 2024 NFL draft
With McCarthy declaring for the 2024 NFL draft, Kuropas said she felt sad to see their time in Michigan come to an end.
“Best time of our lives ... sad to see it go but excited for the next journey. You deserve everything that comes your way. I am beyond proud of you. I love you forever,” she wrote on Instagram.
McCarthy posted 2,991 passing yards and 22 touchdown passes in the 2023 season. He is projected to be a first-round pick, given his athleticism and arm strength.
