Lane Kiffin's son Knox Kiffin likes post roasting Deion Sander's son Shilo Sanders' abilities in EA College Football 25

Colorado Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders, the son of coach Deion Sanders and brother to quarterback Shedeur Sanders, has always taken a back seat to his more renowned family members ever since the media buzz settled on them in Boulder.

That trend continued with his EA Sports College Football 25 rating of 86, which slots him behind his brother Shedeur, who has a rating of 93 and is the highest-rated quarterback in the game, tied with the Georgia Bulldogs' Carson Beck.

On Tuesday, that state of affairs was rubbed into Shilo's wounds with Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin's son Knox Kiffin liking an Instagram post that trolled Sanders' pace in the CFB 25 game.

Former Alabama Crimson Tide and current Tennessee Titans offensive tackle JC Latham posted a clip of himself playing the game during which a fullback outran Shilo Sanders.

During the 2024 Big 12 media days for which Shilo Sanders, his brother and his father attended in style, the safety remarked about his rating in the game.

"It's actually cool," Shilo said. "One thing about it, my hitting power is probably the highest on the game. I don't know if it is, but I think it is."

The troubles of Shilo Sanders continue

Shilo Sanders has had a torrid few months after filing for bankruptcy in 2022 after a ruling by a Texas court in a civil default judgment case awarded $11.89 million to security guard John Darjean, who claimed that the Colorado star assaulted him in 2015 while still in high school, damaging his spine.

Recently, a judge allowed the case to proceed, dismissing Sander's plea to have it discharged. The Sanders family is known for their lavish lifestyle which is often posted on various social media platforms.

The safety addressed the issue during the Big 12 media days, although declining to go into much detail.

“Honestly, that kind of stuff, like, you can’t, you’re not gonna win a court case on social media,” Shilo Sanders said. “At the end of the day everybody is gonna know the truth about everything, you know? So there’s no point in just going out of my way to do that. So everything’s good.”

During the same event, Deion Sanders defended his son when the question about his bankruptcy issue and case in court came up.

“What distraction?” Deion Sanders said. “Shilo’s good. You know what I want you to do? I want you to do this for me: I want you to do your homework and do a whole investigation on that and then write that. I mean the whole complete investigation on what truly happened.”

Deion and Shilo Sanders will hope that the matter does not intrude upon preparations for what promises to be an engrossing season for the Colorado Buffaloes in the Big 12.
