Longtime Draft expert reviews Indiana Hoosiers' 2025 NFL-ready class ft. Nick Kidwell
The Hoosiers are starting over again with a brand-new head coach after playing football that was mediocre in recent years. The program occasionally has players selected in the late rounds of the draft, yet not a single player from Indiana has been drafted in the past two years.
Indiana Hoosiers' 2025 NFL Draft Preview
#1 Jacob Mangum-Farrar
The top prospects on the Hoosiers’ roster are all super seniors, starting with linebacker Jacob Mangum-Farrar. He’s an athletic defender with three-down potential and an underrated game.
#2 Nick Kidwell
Offensive lineman Nick Kidwell is a tough, punch-you-in-the-mouth blocker best in confined quarters at guard. He was a terrific lineman at James Madison, a program that has had a lot of success in recent years, and the step up in competition will help Kidwell if he performs well.
#3 Kurtis Rourke
Kurtis Rourke was graded as a late-round prospect before the 2023 season when he was the starting quarterback at Ohio. After an uninspired season with the Bobcats, Rourke transferred to Indiana and is listed as the starter.
He has the measurables to play on Sundays, and some scouts like his game.
Rourke rarely threw the ball downfield for Ohio and attempted mostly dump-off passes or receiver screens. Hopefully, they’ll let him loose this season so we can determine if he’s a vertical passer.
All three Indiana players have late-round potential, yet at present time, Mangum-Farrar is the only one with a draftable grade.
