“Love you more than anything”: DJ Uiagalelei’s fiancée gives a warm hug to FSU QB following season’s first win

DJ Uiagalelei and the Florida State Seminoles played their fourth game of the college football season against the California Golden Bears on September 21. They broke their losing streak by securing a 14-9 victory but were not void of criticism from their fans.

Despite the noise and boos suffered by DJ at the start of the game, he and the Seminoles were able to move ahead and play with their might. Uiagalelei's fiancée, Ava Pritchard, attended the game to support the Florida State Seminoles.

She shared a picture of herself hugging the QB, with the caption:

"Love you more than anything."

DJ Uiagalelei's touchdown pass helped Florida State break their losing streak

The Florida State Seminoles opened with a touchdown on their second drive against Cal, but their offense stalled afterward, failing to score on the following possessions. This included four punts, an interception, and a turnover on downs, leaving Florida State trailing the Golden Bears 9-7 as the fourth quarter began.

The Seminoles' offense was finally able to frame the game by putting together a 79-yard touchdown drive to retake the lead. The successful drive was capped off by a 36-yard touchdown pass from DJ Uiagalelei to Ja'Khi Douglas. In the play, Douglas positioned himself behind the defender and DJ delivered an accurate pass to him. It was the second touchdown pass of the season for the Seminoles.

DJ Uiagalelei completed 16 of 27 passes for 177 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Florida State's offense had 311 yards of total offense, the first time they had crossed the 300-yard mark since November of last season.

DJ and the Seminoles will prepare to face the SMU Mustangs on September 28.
