LSU football superfan Livvy Dunne has a 4-word message ahead of College GameDay appearance
LSU star Livvy Dunne and boyfriend Paul Skenes will be the guest pickers on ‘ESPN’s College GameDay’ this weekend. The couple are huge fans of college football and will finally get to participate in the excitement at Baton Rouge when the LSU Tigers face the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday.
Dunne shared the news on her Instagram story with a four-word message that read
“Let’s geaux! BE THERE!”
Dunne has been to her fair share of LSU games this season. She was in attendance for the team's home opener against Nicholls in September and posted several pictures of her and her friends on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Skenes and Dunne were present for LSU's thrilling overtime win against Ole Miss back in October.
Skenes and Dunne both tasted success with LSU. Skenes helped the Tigers win the 2023 national championship title while Dunne was a part of the gymnastics squad that won its first NCAA chip earlier this year.
The show will be broadcast live from the Quad at 8 AM CT.
Livvy Dunne will return to LSU for the fifth and final season of college gymnastics
After winning the NCAA championship, Livvy Dunne announced that she would return to LSU for her fifth and final season of college gymnastics. She averaged 9.857 on floor exercise and 9.838 on uneven bars last season.
She said in an Instagram post in July:
“Dear LSU, these past four years have changed my life. There is something about putting on a purple and gold leotard. There's something about competing in front of 13,000 screaming tiger fans.
“There's something about being pushed by your coaches to be your very best. And there's something about being part of a team that made school history. And no matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat, there's just something about LSU. And that's why I'm here to say, I'm not done yet.”
On Tuesday, she shared a post from Media Day where she compared her headshots from her freshman year and now as a super senior. The caption of the post was:
“In a blink of an eye #supersenior #old”
The season will begin after the New Year. Dunne’s aim is to win a second NCAA title this year. Will she and her fellow gymnasts be able to pull off the feat? Let us know in the discussion box.
