LSU projected starting lineup and depth chart for Texas Bowl | 2024 college football season

The LSU Tigers are closing their season in the Texas Bowl on Tuesday, where they will face the Baylor Bears. The Tigers were in the thick of the SEC race until a three-game losing streak in late October and early November knocked them off.

LSU (8-4) was hit hard by the opt-outs for this bowl season. The Tigers will be without both starting tackles, Will Campbell and Emery Jones. Tight end Mason Taylor and wide receiver Kyren Lacy opted out as well, so quarterback Garrett Nussmeier could have a tough time.

Baylor (8-4) has a struggling defense but scored over 30 points in five of its last six games. That could add pressure on LSU to score often.

The good news for LSU is that players like Josh Williams, Saivion Jones, Paris Shand and Zy Alexander will be available for the game. Here is the depth chart for the Tigers in the Texas Bowl.
