LSU vs. Florida: Box score, stats, and summary feat. Garrett Nussmeier (Week 12)

There was an upset at the Swamp as the Florida Gators were able to secure a 27-16 home win in SEC action against the 22nd-ranked LSU Tigers. This game was exciting as Gators quarterback DJ Lagway was able to return from the hamstring injury that kept him sidelined for a week and did not need to run around to be successful. The Tigers struggled to get much going in the second half offensively.

The Tigers (6-4, 3-3 SEC) are now essentially eliminated from competing for the SEC Championship this season and will likely fall out of the CFP conversation. The Gators (5-5, 3-4) are just one win away from being bowl eligible and seeming found their stride offensively in the fourth quarter.

Let’s take a closer look at the box scores and discuss how the game went.
