The former Michigan head coach, now leading the Los Angeles Chargers, made headlines by fulfilling a bold promise to his team.

“I have no ink on my body. No tattoos anywhere, but I did say that to our players. I said if we go 15-0, I’m getting a tattoo. It’s 15-0. I’m going to put it on my shoulder, I don’t know if it’s my left or right yet. I’m a right-handed quarterback. I’ll probably get it on my right. And then an M too, an M that’s maize and blue M.”

Jim Harbaugh's tattoo is OK but former Michigan HC has something else on his mind

While the Jim Harbaugh tattoo and his success with the Wolverines is something the Michigan fans get high on, they have made peace with the fact that Harbaugh’s future lies with the Chargers.

The former Michigan HC is now the NFL’s talk of the town and he’s already garnering attention concerning the 2024 NFL Draft. After a decade away from the NFL, Harbaugh faces a critical test as he and the Chargers' new general manager, Joe Hortiz, prepare to make their first-round selection.

Harbaugh's track record with the San Francisco 49ers suggests he's likely to stay aggressive in the draft. During his tenure with the 49ers, Harbaugh hardly traded down, trying to get top prospects. He could try and use his aggressive approach to secure the services of Ohio State wide receiver - Marvin Harrison Jr.

With the fifth overall pick, the Chargers have a prime opportunity to bolster their receiving corps, and Harrison Jr. could be the perfect addition to assist quarterback Justin Herbert.
