Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame had cameras around since the spring for the docuseries ‘Here Come The Irish’

The docuseries Here Come The Irish is part of the new media rights deal between Notre Dame and NBC that will begin this season. According to Freeman, they’ve had cameras around since spring and it’s been an adjustment for everyone.

“It’s been something that’s been going on since the spring where we’ve had all these cameras here, but it’s exciting because they get to tell an inside story on Notre Dame football,” Freeman said via WNDU.
“It took a little bit of time for our players, our coaches, and our program to get used to these cameras being around, but they’re going to be able to tell a story that not many people know about this football program.”

But it's thrilling because this series will offer an inside look at Notre Dame that most people don't get to see.

“It’s great for our players, but it’s going to be even better for our fans,” he added.

As for the upcoming season, Notre Dame's first five games are scheduled as follows: August 31 at Texas A&M, September 7 vs. Northern Illinois, September 14 at Purdue, September 21 vs. Miami (OH), and September 28 vs. Louisville.
