Mississippi State vs. Georgia: Injury Report

Mississippi State Injury Report

The Mississippi State Bulldogs have a couple of players on the injury report.

Seth Davis, RB

One of the underrated running backs in the SEC won't take the field this season as he suffered a knee injury in last year's Egg Bowl and will miss the entire 2024 season, per coach Jeff Lebby.

This is tough with the Bulldogs looking to improve their running game, as he finished the 2023 season with 59 rushing attempts for 356 yards (6.0 yards per carry) and one rushing touchdown during his freshman season.

JJ Harrell, WR

Freshman wide receiver JJ Harrell has been unable to suit up for the Bulldogs this season as he's dealing with an undisclosed injury. Harrell, who flipped his commitment from Tennessee and is officially listed as questionable.

Georgia Injury Report

A handful of Bulldogs players are on the injury report.

Jared Wilson, C

Center Jared Wilson is a critical piece for the Georgia Bulldogs for obvious reasons. Coach Kirby Smart commented how Wilson is not getting to full availability during the week.

"(Center) Jared (Wilson) is still - Jared's better than he was, but not taking full-load reps. He's taking some reps, but not - he's taking more than he was last week, but not full-load," Smart said.

Wilson is officially listed as questionable for this game.

Tate Ratledge, OT

Offensive tackle Tate Ratledge is still not at 100 percent after suffering a knee injury. He underwent TightRope surgery to shorten the recovery window about one month ago. As a result, he will be ruled out for this SEC matchup.

Jordan Hall, DL

Another member of the Georgia Bulldogs who is in the trenches is on the injury report, but he is on the other side of the football. Jordan Hall is recovering from a pair of stress fractures in his legs and has not played since November of last season. Coach Kirby Smart provided an update on Hall's status earlier this week.

"Jordan is trying to get out there and go. Man, he's pushing so hard," Smart said. "I hate it for that kid because he's had two rods - I mean, a rod put in both legs. And he's out there frustrated. He's doing more than he did last week, but I don't know that I can say he's ready to play this week." h/t UGA Wire

Hall is officially listed as questionable for this game as well but is trending towards doubtful.
