"My babeeeee": Coach Prime's ex-wife Pilar Sanders shows love to daughter Shelomi before her SWAC Media Day
Coach Prime's ex-wife, Pilar Sanders, was excited before their daughter Shelomi Sanders' SWAC Media Day event.
Pilar uploaded a video of her daughter, who will play for Alabama A&M in the upcoming college basketball season, showing off her uniform. The caption of the Instagram video post was:
"My babeeeeeeeee!! #swac #mediaday go #shelomisanders @aamuathletics @aamuwbb 💕💕💕💕"
Shelomi Sanders recently sat for an interview with NBC Sports to talk about her latest NIL deal with Dexcom to manage diabetes. She talked about her experience leaving Colorado and transferring to Alabama A&M. From the 4:28 mark:
"I'm really really glad and excited and thankful to be at Alabama A&M. Can't wait to get this season started off and I know it's going to be a great one."
She also said that the coaching staff at Alabama A&M had a huge impact on her decision to transfer to an HBCU school. When asked about her father's reaction to her transfer and if he's come around to her decision, she said at 6:17:
"He's my dad and he's also a coach so I think that's why he kind of just has a reaction like that but we handled and discussed things behind closed doors."
Coach Prime called Shelomi's decision to transfer from Boulder to Alabama A&M "stupid." But it seems there is no bad blood between the father and daughter.
Coach Prime's ex-wife celebrated son Shedeur Sanders' major CFB achievement
The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback achieved a great feat when he secured his 100th passing touchdown of his collegiate career. When Shedeur and the Buffs played against the North Dakota State Bison on August 29, the QB connected with WR Travis Hunter in the third quarter. Right when Hunter caught the pass, the Buffaloes' social media team celebrated the QB's record.
Sanders' mom, Pilar, also uploaded a series of images of herself and him with the caption:
"CONGRATS ON YOUR 100 PASSING TOUCHDOWNS!!! So proud of you son! Go #shedeursanders #legendary #ss2 #gobuffs #skobuffs"
Coach Prime's ex-wife has been a frequent audience member at Colorado games. She dons Buffs jerseys and one of the interesting parts of her outfits is during halftime she rotates them in order to cheer for her sons, Shilo and Shedeur.
Since Shelomi Sanders will no longer play for the Buffs but for Alabama A&M, fans may expect Pilar to attend her basketball games in the future.
