As the No. 4 Crimson Tide clash with the No. 2 Bulldogs, all eyes will be on new head coach Kalen DeBoer, who, since taking over for the legendary Nick Saban, is leading the Tide to a perfect 3-0 start.

However, Kirby Smart’s Georgia team will be his first real test. The Bulldogs have won two of the last three national championships and will certainly take the fight to Alabama.

Saban’s Alabama teams held a 5-1 record against his former assistant, including last year's SEC Championship win. Emotions are running high, and with Kristen Saban adding to the drama, this game is set to be a must-watch.

Nick Saban discusses Kalen DeBoer's time at Alabama

The legendary Alabama coach and seven-time national champion made his much-anticipated return to Tuscaloosa, but as an ESPN analyst on “College GameDay.”

He was joined by none other than current Alabama HC Kalen DeBoer. Saban offered some high praise for the man filling his shoes.

"I appreciate the fact that I think Kalen has done a fantastic job in transition, which is not easy when you take over a successful program. He respects the tradition here.“
"He honored the success that we have, but actually put the stamp on the program relative to how he wanted to do it, and the players have really bought into it, and I think it's reflected in the way he's played this year," Saban stated.

The 72-year-old also showed the fans his funny side when he joked that the Alabama players were "really tired" of him. DeBoer remains focused, sharing his mantra before the Week 5 game:

"It's all about us."

The stage is set for a blockbuster SEC showdown, with Alabama coming into the game as a rare underdog.
