The Ohio State Buckeyes faced the Texas Longhorns in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic on Friday.

The Longhorns tied the game in the third quarter but let it slip in the fourth, giving up two touchdowns to fall to a 28-14 defeat.
With the win, the Buckeyes advanced to the national championship game, where they will face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
