Oklahoma star Danny Stutsman drops sarcastic reaction to post linking him to $40M worth Sydney Sweeney

Danny Stutsman found himself wandering in unwanted territory when an X post linked him with Hollywood viral sensation Sydney Sweeney. The OU linebacker couldn't have been more sarcastic with his response to the tweet which read:

"Sydney Sweeney and OU football player Danny Stutsman have been ‘quietly hanging out’ this summer, per my sources."

The Florida native in response quipped:

"Can’t have any privacy these days."

While Stutsman chose a hilarious side in response to the false tweet, $40 million worth Sydney Sweeney(valuation per Celebrity Net Worth) is engaged to Jonathan Davino, an entrepreneur from Chicago.

This is not the first time that Sweeney has been linked with other people with the most spread rumor being about dating her "Anything but You" co-star Glen Powell.

Danny Stutsman hyped by former Sooners coach Bob Stoops

Former Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops heaped praise on linebacker Danny Stutsman, comparing him to Sooners great Rocky Calmus.

"Yeah, he’s a big, rangy guy," Stoops said on "The Ref podcast." "He reminds me of Teddy Lehman. The length, the power, the athleticism. When he gets his hands on the ball, he’s gonna catch it. He really reminds me a lot of Rocky Calmus, which is a major compliment.”

Stutsman, who recorded 104 tackles, 16 TFLs, and four takeaways last season, could have declared for the NFL draft and likely been a second-round pick. However, he chose to return to Oklahoma for one more year.

The 21-year-old is proud of his fellow teammates as he gets ready to be a commanding presence in the 2024 season.

"I'm proud. When I look at that team since the time they got on campus ... it just puts a smile on my face seeing guys like Lewis Carter and Samuel Omosigho come in," Stutsman said.

His journey from a freshman in the troublesome 2021 season to a 6-7 record in 2022 and then a 10-3 season in 2023 under Brent Venables to being one of Oklahoma's representatives at SEC media days is remarkable.
