Paige Bueckers gets blown away by Georgia vs Alabama SEC thriller, shares her post-game reaction on X
UConn Huskies guard Paige Bueckers expressed her amazement over the nail-biting encounter between Georgia and Alabama on Saturday. Outplayed by Alabama in the first half, Georgia bounced back, only to lose 41-34 in the final moments of the game.
Fans expected an even battle but Alabama took a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. At halftime, the Bulldogs had to overcome a 23-point deficit.
The team showed great determination to make it 34-33 with 2:31 to go. But some smart plays by Milroe and Alabama freshman Ryan Williams made it 41-34. As the wonders kept on unfolding, Paige Bueckers shared this reaction on X:

Beck tried to save the sinking ship of Georgia in the final moments. He passed to Colbie Young in the endzone with 43 seconds left, but Zabien Brown intercepted.
Jalen Milroe was the top man for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He carried the ball 16 times for 117 yards and went 27-33 for 374 yards.
Carson Beck tried to put some fight from the Georgia camp. He threw the ball 50 times and completed 27 passes for 439 yards.
Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer shared how he felt while leading his team at the battlefront, per ESPN:
"Yeah, when you face a really good football team, you know there's going to be a strong push. We pushed each other to the very end."
Paige Bueckers is watching college football with great interest
After concluding her travels, Paige Bueckers started preparing for the next season with great enthusiasm. But the UConn star has been watching the college football season as well with great zeal and sharing her amazement on social media.
In the Colorado vs Baylor clash, Coach Prime's team was trailing initially only to surprise the opponents with a 38-31 victory in overtime. It surprised Paige Bueckers as well who wrote on X:
"Nah this Colorado & Baylor game is WILDDDDD"
She was especially admiring about Travis Hunter, whose impeccable defense helped the Colorado Buffaloes emerge victorious. Bueckers wrote on X:
"Travis Hunter is not real"
Bueckers returned to college for the final year of eligibility. She is projected as a top pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
