Former Heisman winner backs Carson Beck for national championship success

Carson Beck has set huge expectations ahead of the 2024 season; however, he’s got the backing of a college football legend. Beck is set to lead Kirby Smart’s offense in the season opener against Clemson. The Georgia quarterback will look to pick up where he left off as he recorded 3,941 yards and 24 touchdowns in a 13-1 campaign last season.

Beck is ready to take the next step and former Heisman winner Tim Tebow thinks he's got what it takes to bring home the national championship and discussed what he believes is his main focus.

“I think he’s really trying to turn that pain into purpose, and I think it’s something that Carson Beck is absolutely going to do. Listen, this is a kid that had the opportunity to go to the NFL.”
“He had an opportunity to make even more money, although he’s making a fair amount with NIL, but that’s not his focus. His focus is championships,” Tebow said on SportsCenter on Saturday.

Tebow also added that winning a championship requires leadership, especially after losing key playmakers like Ladd McConkey and Brock Bowers.
