PHOTO: Coach Prime's daughter Deiondra shares her adorable evolution picture with dad via latest IG story
Deiondra Sanders, daughter of Carolyn Chambers and Deion Sanders, finds herself in a happy spot after giving birth to son Baby Que, who has the same birthday (Aug. 9) as Coach Prime. She is engaged to R&B singer Jacquees and seems to be embracing motherhood.
This comes after she had her share of troubles before getting pregnant. Her medical history includes multiple myomectomy surgeries to remove fibroid growths. This left her in a difficult position for the pregnancy. However, all went well, as both mother and son turned out to be healthy after birth.
On Monday, she took to Instagram, resharing a nostalgic post. In the collage, on the left side, a younger and happier version of Deion Sanders and Deiondra is provided, while on the right, the current version of the father-daughter duo is placed.
The common thing between both of these pictures was the happiness emanating from the duo.
Deion Sanders' props to all mothers: 'Being a mother ain't no joke'
Last week, Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes made their trip to Orlando for Saturday's encounter with the UCF Knights. The trip became extra special for Coach Prime as he got to meet his grandson Que.
Just ahead of the matchup, Sanders shared a heartwarming post on Instagram, recognizing himself as a proud grandfather while also giving props to all the mothers out there.
“Okay, I’ve Accepted it! I am LIL BABY’S GRANDFATHER. Lawd That felt strange & I felt GREY(Er) than ever. I AM LIL BABY’S GRANDAD!... Deiondra just said, I AM! & to see @deiondrasanders Mothering a CHILD is awesome," Sanders wrote in the caption of the post which included his meeting with Que.
“Thank God she’s 34 and welcomed, accepted & prepared to be a MOTHER. I’m praying for all the young ladies that may have a child sooner than expected. Being a Mother ain’t no joke.”
Meanwhile, on the field, Deion Sanders has gained momentum following the Week 2 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Since then, the Big 12 program has been on a three-game winning streak. The Buffaloes have an off in Week 6 and are not scheduled to play this week.
Their next assignment has them facing No. 20 Kansas State on Oct. 12 at Folsom Field.
