Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze’s hard-fought win over Kentucky brought a heartwarming celebration for the Freeze family. Auburn ended a tough three-game losing streak with a 24-10 victory, with Freeze’s daughters, Madison, Jordan and Ragan in the stands to cheer for their dad.
Following the win, Madison shared a heartfelt photo on Instagram with her father and sisters, captioned:
“TYJ for memories like these.”
It’s been a challenging season for Freeze and the Tigers, who’ve struggled with tight losses and criticism. The Kentucky win brought some much-needed joy back to Auburn’s sideline.
"Things just haven't gone our way," Freeze admitted postgame. "Tonight our kids found a way to win, and I just couldn't be happier for them."
The victory not only improved Auburn’s record (3-5, 1-4) in the 2024 college football season but also gave the Tigers something invaluable: momentum and a morale boost heading into the back half of the season.

Kentucky win was a welcome change for Auburn's Hugh Freeze

“Man. Just thank the Good Lord. ...Our kids found a way to win, and I just couldn't be happier for them,” he said.
The game wasn’t easy by any means. Auburn went down 10-0 early but clawed its way back, showing a “no-quit” mentality. Freeze praised his team, saying:
“I'm just really, really proud of everyone's effort tonight and just a tough place to play against a really good defensive football team and thought our kids handled everything really well.
“Just to see them happy and their continuous hard work to be gratified with the feeling of an SEC win on the road.”
This win is a confidence boost Auburn desperately needed, especially with more tough SEC games ahead. Freeze noted that his team’s effort isn’t just about statistics but about heart and grit.
