Dillon Gabriel continues efforts for Mililani High School
The Ducks quarterback isn’t stopping on his efforts to stay connected with his alma mater, Mililani High School. Gabriel is focused on providing the school with sports gear through his philanthropic efforts.
He visited the school on June 16, participating in a high school game to inspire the football team with motivational talks, and also met with coaches and teachers.
“What an amazing weekend,” Gabriel captioned on Instagram. “It’s just the beginning of what we are building back home at Mililani High School! Can’t express how thankful I am for the experience.”
Gabriel has leveraged his NIL earnings, contributing over $250,000 to Mililani High and donating sports gear using his connections with brands like Nike and Guardian Caps.
“When NIL started out, I just gave sneakers to the basketball team and accessories. It’s a small thing, but it could change somebody’s life,” Gabriel said (per On3).
Gabriel's love for Mililani remains strong. The former Sooners QB sees himself in those young kids. The Miami native doesn’t want them to face similar struggles he did during his high school days.
