Oregon Ducks QB Dillon Gabriel attended the 2024 Big Ten Media Day along with the head coach, Dan Lanning, and tight end, Terrance Ferguson. Lanning came forth with many positive statements about Gabriel, believing that the transfer from Oklahoma is the perfect fit for the Ducks after the departure of Bo Nix to the NFL.
Although Dillon Gabriel's girlfriend, Zo Caswell, could not tag along with him, she cheered for him from the comfort of her house. She uploaded a picture of the Oregon QB on her Instagram story and added these emojis:
"😘😃"
Dillon Gabriel is set to play his sixth year of college football with Oregon this season. He spent three years with UCF before transferring to Oklahoma. In 24 games for the Sooners over two seasons, Gabriel threw for 6,828 yards, with 55 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

The couple have been sharing pictures and videos of each other on their social media accounts. From sharing snaps from Oregon's game days to spending romantic moments together, the couple interacts with their friends via their social media posts. And when the two adopted a puppy together, they shared happy moments via a series of snaps.
The pictures showed their pet, Winston, running around the practice field.
"Gettin our boy Winston right for the Spring Game this Saturday. He’s still deciding between RB, WR and TE. Bout to give @jordanjames2_ @tezmania15 @terrancef3 a run for their money. Got some Routes on Air in and this dudes got elite quickness (kind of like Tez) and down the field speed. Lacks size of course but size doesn’t matter (in this case, because he’s a skill position). I think he’s ready for some reps @coachwillstein @ryderhayes_19"
Dillon Gabriel became a summer star because of his on-field performance and also became a Heisman Trophy preseason favorite amongst fans, as per CBS Sports. While talking to CBS Sports, the head coach of the Ducks said:
"I don't think that's new for him," Dan Lanning said. "It's something that's existed in his career and he's always been a guy who is really good at level-setting, staying humble and grounded, and where he's at. Family means everything to him. The way he leads and attacks each day, I think that's been great evidence of his approach and how he handles things. I've been really pleased with it."
If the 5-foot-11 QB lives up to the expectations of fans and his head coach this season, he could become one of the top five quarterbacks in next year's NFL draft.
