This weekend's UGA vs. Alabama contest is highly anticipated for many reasons. For starters, both powerhouses enter the matchup unbeaten.
In their most recent outing, the Bulldogs displayed resolve against the Kentucky Wildcats with a hard-fought 13-12 win. Meanwhile, Alabama moved to 3-0 last weekend thanks to its 42-10 victory over Wisconsin. Both programs are coming off an open week. Each program is led by strong quarterback play.
Crimson Tide QB Jalen Milroe had an efficient afternoon opposite the Badgers. The 21-year-old Heisman candidate completed 12 out of 17 for 196 yards with a 70.6 completion rate.
Conversely, UGA signal caller Carson Beck struggled against Kentucky, completing just 15 of 24 for 160 yards and no scores. This might give his week 5 opponents some relief.
The primetime showdown from Tuscaloosa begins at 7.30 p.m. ET on September 28 and promises fans a high-stakes CFB event.
