PIC: 5-star QB Julian Lewis arrives in Colorado to visit Deion Sanders’ Buffs amid commitment flip speculations
Five-star quarterback Julian Lewis visited Colorado on Friday, fueling speculation that he might reconsider flipping his commitment from USC. Lewis, who initially pledged to the Trojans last year, is now making his fourth visit to Boulder to meet with coach Deion Sanders and the Buffs, according to Nikki Edwards of CU Sports Report.
For Sanders, this visit could be crucial as he prepares to lose key players like quarterback Shedeur Sanders and wideout/cornerback Travis Hunter to the NFL draft next spring.
Lewis shared a photo from his car with a Colorado backpack on the dashboard and the caption:
“Boulder, Colorado.”
This latest visit, scheduled for Oct. 26 when Colorado hosts Cincinnati, keeps Lewis’ recruiting journey intriguing, as he’s ranked the No. 7 quarterback for the 2025 class. Besides USC, Colorado and Indiana are the main schools in the mix.
His bond with Trojans coach Lincoln Riley, known for developing top quarterbacks, remains strong despite the team's recent struggles.
