Livvy Dunne spoke about unfair NIL distribution in women's college sports

Livvy Dunne, is one of the most popular faces in the world of college sports. Fresh off winning a gymnastics national championship with LSU, she decided to use her fifth year of college eligibility. Along with having a social media following of 13.6 million, she is the highest NIL-earning women athlete in college with a valuation of $4 million.

Dunne talked about her concerns over unequal opportunities and the distribution of wealth for women's athletes in college during an interview with Flaunt Magazine.

“Women’s sports, in general, it’s quite unfair still with NIL. A big school like LSU [has] collective money. None of it goes to women’s sports. Most of the collective money goes to football, basketball, baseball—the men’s sports.”

Dunne established 'The Livvy Fund' on July 6, 2023. Through her fund, she helps women athletes receive recognition and NIL deals. She said she wants to inspire young girls through her efforts and bring focus to women's college sports.
