"Prime Time had no time for his ex-wife": American comedian roasts Deion Sanders after he avoids "confrontation" with Pilar Sanders

Deion Sanders has been in the news for his solid work at Colorado this year after the Buffaloes finished the regular season with a dominant 52-0 win over Oklahoma State on Friday. However, before kickoff, Coach Prime appeared to avoid any interaction with his ex-wife, Pilar Sanders, when he had a ceremonial walk with his sons Shilo and Shedeur at Folsom Field.

When American comedian Cousin Sal saw Deion and Pilar avoiding each other, he didn't hesitate to take a cheeky pop at Coach Prime on X.

"As you can see, 'Prime Time' had no time for his ex-wife," Sal said. "Look at that. Deion still has his head on a swivel and whoop, there she is. What an incredible first step to avoid any confrontation and running into his ex, which I'm pretty sure is a 15-yard penalty. I see he is still afraid of making tackles, but I get it this time."

Sal added that it was his "favorite move" from Deion this season.

"Listen, I know I've been hard on Deion with all the theatrics, but this has been my favorite move from his playbook all season," Sal said. "Hey Jerry Jones, this is what the Cowboys need. Forget about Deion the coach, we need Deion the player. If not for Prime Time's tremendous field instincts to avoid the ex, this would have been a hell of a hallmark holiday movie idea, and the best parent trap since Lindsey Lohan did it in 1998."

Deion and Pilar married in 1999 and divorced in 2015. Apart from Shilo and Shedeur, they are also parents to their daughter Shelomi, who is the youngest of their three kids.

After Colorado dominated Oklahoma State, Deion Sanders confirmed that his key players will play in the Buffaloes' bowl game, so Shilo and Shedeur will take the field for Colorado one last time before they potentially go pro.

The Buffs qualified for a bowl game for the first time since 2020. Last season, they finished with a 4-8 record and it was Sanders' first year at the helm.

This year, Deion has led Colorado to a 9-3 record (7-2 Big 12). Notably, the Buffs have not won a bowl game since they defeated UTEP 33-28 in the 2004 EV1.net Houston Bowl.
