“Quack quack baby”: Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel’s fiancée shows off heartwarming snaps following Week 7 win
Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel and his fiancée Zo Caswell stole the spotlight after the Ducks' 32-31 victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes (5-1, 2-1 Big Ten) in Week 7. Gabriel, who transferred to Oregon this offseason, led a gutsy go-ahead drive to put the Ducks on top in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.
After the victory, fans stormed the field, and among the many was Gabriel's fiancée, who rushed to hug the Ducks QB. Caswell took to Instagram, posting heartwarming snaps and videos celebrating Oregon’s triumph. Her snaps also highlighted a strong bond between the couple and Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson and his girlfriend Sophia Meyer, who also joined the festivities.
"Quack quack baby!!!🦆💚" Caswell captioned her IG post.
The Ducks nearly let the game slip after a failed fourth-and-goal attempt, but Gabriel’s offensive skills under pressure shone through.
With Caswell cheering him on, the Ducks QB continues to make a name for himself in the college football landscape, and fans are eager to see where he leads the No. 2 ranked Oregon Ducks (6-0, 3-0) next as Dan Lanning’s team pushes for a playoff run.

Dillon Gabriel comes out victorious from "heavyweights dogfight"
On Saturday, the former Sooners QB showed why the Ducks put so much trust in him in the offseason. After his performance against Ohio State, Gabriel showed why he's one of college football’s top quarterbacks, with Heisman shouts already looming. In his postgame press conference, the Ducks QB said:
“We all knew we were getting a dogfight, two heavyweights going at it. That's what college football is all about.”
The game’s defining moment came in the fourth quarter when Gabriel faked a handoff and ran 27 yards for a touchdown, putting Oregon ahead. This play made Gabriel the first FBS player, to have 125 throwing touchdowns and 30 rushing touchdowns in his career. Oregon's coach couldn’t have been more proud of his star man in the postgame conference.
"Every time I went and looked at his eyes tonight, I saw a guy who was composed and ready for his next moment. He played really, really well tonight and had some really big moments," Lanning said.
Gabriel, making his 55th career start, completed 23 of 34 passes, managing 341 yards and two touchdowns.
