Per Thamel's report, Quinn Ewers will likely miss Texas' Week 4 matchup versus Louisiana-Monroe. The junior signal caller remains week-to-week.
Before his exit, Ewers continued his strong play against the Roadrunners while completing 14-of-16 for 185 yards and two touchdowns. With their QB1 out, Longhorns fans received a long-awaited look at backup Arch Manning.

With Ewers out, Arch Manning displayed his talent while guiding the Texas offense.
On his first play, Manning hit DeAndre Moore with a 19-yard touchdown strike to extend Texas' lead to 21-0. On the next drive, Manning took a read option 67 yards for a touchdown, extending the lead to 28-7.
Manning opened the second half with back-to-back touchdown drives, including a deep shot to Ryan Wingo for a 75-yard touchdown. Overall, Manning completed 9-of-12 for 223 yards and four touchdowns. He showed his athleticism on the ground, tallying three carries for 57 yards and a fifth touchdown.
