Rutgers vs. Kennesaw State: Box score, stats and summary feat. Ace Bailey (Nov. 24)

We had an upset on Sunday afternoon as the Kennesaw State Owls defended their home court and recorded a 79-77 win over the 24th-ranked Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The Owls were able to shoot at a better rate and dominated the glass en route to the victory.

The Scarlet Knights (4-1) are no longer undefeated and are facing a lot of questions after this game offensively.

However, the second half of the game also showed a lot of potential solutions to their offensive woes, but it was just too large a hole to recover from.

The Owls (5-1) are now 5-0 at home and won their first nationally broadcast game in the KSU Convocation Center, as well as their second-ever win over a current Power Four conference team.

Let’s take a closer look at the box scores and discuss how this game played out.
