The USC Trojans and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights met for the first time in college football history at the LA Memorial Coliseum on Friday.

Both teams came into the contest carrying three-game losing streaks. Lincoln Riley's program was the favorite and dominated from the get-go. USC scored 28 points in the first half and was complemented by a strong defense that made crucial stops, especially in the first quarter.
