"Scared to post this": Dillon Gabriel's fiancée opens up about struggles with mental health as she thanks Oregon QB for his support

Dillon Gabriel's fiancée, Zoe Caswell, has opened up on her mental health problems on social media. In a TikTok post on Tuesday, Caswell wrote how she has been dealing with a few personal issues for many years, and thanked her close ones, including Gabriel, for getting her through the tough times.

"I'm a little scared to post this but I think it's important to share. I have struggled with mental health for the past six years and am still on my journey to healing. There have been so many ups and downs over the years but I'm so grateful to my fiancé, friends and family for always sticking with me. If you are also on your road to recovery you are not alone. I love you," Caswell wrote.

Gabriel has been an advocate for mental health issues and has stressed the importance of addressing emotions. Last year, while playing at Oklahoma, the signal-caller opened up on how 988 Oklahoma and the available mental health resources helped him recover from a significant injury.

"Having 988 is a great resource. It's something that's so easy - three digits call or text. It's something that should be useful and helpful," Gabriel said.

Gabriel transferred to Oregon this offseason.
