"Setting another record of course": Coach Prime's ex-wife Pilar Sanders beats the drum for Shedeur & Shilo after their latest achievement
Shedeur and Shilo Sanders are set to shine on one of football's biggest stages, and their mom, Pilar Sanders, couldn’t be prouder. The Colorado standouts and sons of Coach Prime Deion Sanders have committed to the prestigious East-West Shrine Bowl.
The game will take place on January 30 at AT&T Stadium, the Dallas Cowboys home. Pilar took to Instagram to celebrate their latest milestone, sharing a graphic of the event and captioning it,
"Setting Another Record of course!!! CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎉🎉."
Pilar continues championing her sons as they prepare for their next football chapter. For Shedeur, a potential top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the game offers a unique chance to show his worth to the Cowboys scouts, a team he has been heavily linked with the last couple of weeks. The practices will be held at the Cowboys' practice facility in Frisco.
This development also stems from Coach Prime's potential future with the Cowboys, especially given Mike McCarthy's shaky 3-7 season. However, Coach Prime insists he’s staying in Colorado.

2025 NFL Draft ft. Shedeur Sanders & New York Giants
The 2025 NFL Draft hype is heating up, and Colorado’s star quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, finds himself right at the center of it. The regular season is winding down with the Buffs going strong with an 8-2 record, eyeing the Big 12 championship and the college football playoffs.
The 22-year-old quarterback is one of the top prospects in this draft class, owing to his accuracy and ability to make plays under pressure. He could become a franchise-altering quarterback in the NFL. During an episode of his podcast “2Legendary,” Shedeur talked about his potential landing spot in an exchange with Buffaloes wide receiver Drelon Miller.
The two discussed the New York Giants’ quarterback woes after Daniel Jones was benched. However, Sanders didn’t confirm any interest in joining the Giants; his smiles and coy had the NFL fans guessing.
It’s not just hype with Shedeur. Stats back him up aplenty, throwing for 3,222 yards and 27 touchdowns this season. The Giants hold the No. 4 pick and are potentially on after giving up on Jones for the moment. It’ll be interesting to see whether Shedeur Sanders teams up with former LSU WR Malik Nabers in New York.
