“She does a great job”: Steve Sarkisian credits wife Loreal Sarkisian for dashing game day outfit in Week 2
Steve Sarkisian and his wife, Loreal Sarkisian, have filed for divorce but Loreal continues to be a part of the Texas coach's life. On Saturday, ESPN "College GameDay" host Kirk Herbstreit kind of guessed that when he asked the Longhorns coach about his outfit ahead of their Week 2 matchup against the Michigan Wolverines.
"Sark you're getting quite the reputation with your outfits every time you head into a game. Is that leather or suede?" Herbstreit said.
"That's cashmere, that jacket is a flex," said another host before Herbstreit bluntly asked: "Do you have a stylist or you that yourself? Who's helping you out with that?"
"You know, I have one at home (Loreal). She does a great job for me, man," Sarkisian replied.
Loreal, deemed the first lady of Texas football, has gained quite the fandom around her stylish and savvy gameday outfits.

Loreal Sarkisian also dressed up the Texas coach in 2024 season opener
Loreal made it to the headlines before Texas’ Week 1 game against the Colorado State Rams. Sarkisian’s wife was at Darell K Royal-Texas Stadium in Austin, wowing fans with her denim outfit. She flaunted her outfit on Instagram, captioning:
"Happy Game Day to EVERYONE and especially to my fashion lovers!!!"
A fan who noticed Steve’s sharp appearance during the game commented:
"The way Sark was dressed for gameday could have only come from @lorealsarkisian 🔥🔥🔥"
Loreal replied to the comment about styling her husband and wrote:
“I definitely dressed him. I always do.”
Even Steve Sarkisian joined the fun as he commented, "🔥🔥." His wife replied at once, cheekily writing:
"... the lady who dressed you today did a great job 🔥😉 #ME"
Even with the divorce announcement, Loreal’s influence on the Texas sidelines remains present in the form of Steve Sarkisian’s looks.
Steve and Loreal tied the knot in 2020 when the Texas coach was learning the trade under legendary coach Nick Saban as Alabama’s offensive coordinator. As the Longhorns look to push strongly in the 2024 season, Loreal's stylish presence will be felt.
