Shedeur Sanders issues 1-word response as fans ask him to pick between Giants & Raiders
Speculation regarding which team will select Shedeur Sanders is rampant, with the expected landing spots being either the New York Giants or the Las Vegas Raiders. It's been reported that Shedeur and his father, Deion Sanders, would prefer the Raiders over the Giants.
Some have even suggested that if selected by the Giants, he could pull an "Eli Manning" and refuse to sign for the NFC East franchise. This has been refuted several times by members of the Sanders crew, but the rumor persists. In a recent interaction with fans in Boulder, Shedeur Sanders was asked which team he would prefer.
"Both," he responded.
The video was posted by Deion Sanders Jr.'s "Well Off Media" on YouTube on Saturday. It was centered around a tribute paid by the basketball team to the Colorado football squad.
Shedeur Sanders is the favorite to be the first overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft (-180). His closest competitor is Miami QB Cameron Ward.
Deion Sanders's message to Shedeur Sanders and Colorado players ahead of the Alamo Bowl
For Deion Sanders, the season isn't over yet. Coach Prime had a strong message for his players in a practice session ahead of the Alamo Bowl against BYU.
In a video posted by "Well Off Media" on Sunday, Sanders said:
"We got to finish. We got to finish strong, we got to finish right," Sanders said (4:10). "I'm talking about making it, I'm talking about making them proud. Some of y'all if it don't mean nothing to you it's not wise for you to get on the plane because if I sense it, if I sniff it out, you ain't going. Thank God we have everybody..."
"Now, let's continue with a commitment to excellence," Sanders said.
No. 23 Colorado is the favorite to win the Alamo Bowl against No. 17 BYU at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday. The game will air on ABC at 7:30 p.m. ET.
