Shedeur Sanders makes a cameo with $850 million worth soccer legend in star-studded Beats by Dre commercial
Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders is in the midst of his final collegiate campaign. Coach Prime and his sons transferred from Jackson State last season. And after a 4--8 debut campaign, they have managed to help the Buffs put up a 6-2 campaign so far, thus making the program eligible for the Bowl games this season.
Apart from his on-field achievements, Shedeur Sanders also had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best athletes in the world. In Beats by Dr.Dre's latest commercial, we see the Colorado QB making a cameo alongside $850 million worth (per Celebrity Net Worth) soccer star Lionel Messi.
The commercial also included other athletes such as WNBA star Angel Reese, tennis legend Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka, Man City star Eric Haaland and others. The Colorado QB shared the commercial on his Instagram as well.
"Athletes get it. @beatsbydre #beatspartner," Shedeur wrote in the caption.
Back in August, Beats by Dre signed 11 college football athletes as a part of its second 'Beats Elite' campaign. These players were going to be featured across various marketing campaigns for the brand. Among these 11 athletes was Shedeur Sanders.
Coach Prime's QB son is also the highest-valued NIL athlete with a $6.2 million valuation. He also has NIL deals with top brands like Nike, Gatorade, and others. Shedeur was eligible to declare for the 2024 NFL draft. But he decided to return to Boulder to play one more season under his father before going pro.
NFL draft expert makes interesting prediction on Shedeur Sanders
The Colorado QB is considered to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL draft. So far this season, he has tallied a total of 2,591 passing yards and 21 TD passes. NFL draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. predicted where the QB could go in the NFL during Monday's episode of 'The First Draft'.
According to Kiper, Shedeur could potentially become the next QB of the Las Vegas Raiders. He then went on to detail the factors behind this prediction.
"The team that screams Shedeur Sanders is Las Vegas. He patterns himself after Tom Brady, he operates with the influence to draft him to Las Vegas in terms of quarterback evaluation," Kiper said.
"If we're talking about the draft right now and not on the 8th then right? If you need a quarterback, Shedeur Sanders would make sense there."
The Buffs will be playing in their first bowl game since the 2020 COVID-19 shortened season this campaign. They are also a potential contender for the Big 12 title and a spot in the 12-team playoffs. Thus, before Shedeur figures out his NFL future, he will be looking to end his college career on a successful note.
