South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt: Box score, stats and summary feat. LaNorris Sellers (Week 11)

The South Carolina Gamecocks were able to go on the road and take down the Vanderbilt Commodores 28-7 in Week 11 SEC action. The Gamecocks were able to do well thanks to the duo of LaNorris Sellers and Raheim Sanders controlling the game offensively.

The Gamecocks (6-3, 4-3 SEC) are now bowl eligible with their sixth victory of the season and continue to climb up the SEC standings with a few games left to go. South Carolina vs. Vanderbilt Game Summary

The South Carolina Gamecocks were able to be extremely efficient offensively throughout the game as they were able to convert on 9-of-12 third-down opportunities to extend drives. A major reason why was the fact LaNorris Sellers averaged 11.9 passing yards per attempt as well as the team running for 5.0 yards per carry. They lost a fumble during the game but they were able to cruise to a victory.

The Vanderbilt Commodores struggled a bit on the offensive side of the field as they were 6-of-13 on third downs and did not convert on either of their two fourth downs. Diego Pavia completed 16-of-31 passes and averaged 5.4 yards per pass, less than half what Sellers was able to do. The team also committed one turnover as they lost a fumble.
