This game is going to be electric and more than 12 hours ahead of kickoff, you can feel the excitement spewing out of Eugene, Oregon. This is going to be an exciting battle and should be a lot of fun as two of the behemoths of college football clash.
Ohio State vs. Oregon: Who will win?
In a battle of the undefeated 5-0 programs and fighting for the top of the Big Ten Conference, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Oregon Ducks are squaring off this evening. This game is pitting two of the top three in the AP Poll against one another and will have major implications for the College Football Playoff.
The game is going to be electric as the Buckeyes are considered to be a three-point road favorite for this game in Autzen Stadium. The quarterbacks have been superb with Will Howard and Dillon Gabriel stepping right in as transfers in their final college football seasons.
With this game being so close, it is difficult to pick a side. However, the Oregon Ducks are 1-4 against the spread this season compared to the Ohio State Buckeyes being able to cover with a 3-2 ATS record thus far. The Buckeyes hold a 2-1 all-time advantage in this matchup.
Ohio State has the best statistical defense in the country and as Pat McAfee said, they are the best team that money can buy. While holding their opponents to 202.0 total yards per game and 3.6 yards per play, it is going to be difficult to expect the Ducks to defend home field and win this game against one of the best teams in college football.
