Tennessee vs Ohio State opt-outs and injury report: Top players not playing in playoff game
The Tennessee Volunteers are set to go on the road to play the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
Tennessee finished the year with a two-game winning streak to improve to 10-2. Ohio State, meanwhile, ended the year with a record of 10-2. Its most recent game was a stunning 13-10 loss to Michigan.

Tennessee has seven players in the transfer portal who won't be playing.
Jalen Smith, LB
The biggest player for the Vols in the transfer portal is Jalen Smith, who played 256 snaps for Tennessee this season. Smith recorded 34 tackles.
Kaleb Webb, WR
Wide receiver Kaleb Webb is in the transfer portal and won't play for the Vols. Webb has recorded just six receptions for 48 yards this season.
Jordan Matthews, CB
Jordan Matthews is also in the transfer portal after playing just 83 snaps for the Vols. Matthews recorded just three tackles this season.
Cam Seldon, RB
Cam Seldon was Tennessee's fourth-string running back but he will enter the portal. Seldon played 54 snaps, carrying 23 times for 118 yards and a touchdown.
Nathan Leacock, WR
Nathan Leacock caught just one pass for 13 yards and after having a limited role, he has entered the transfer portal.
Vysen Lang, OL
Depth offensive Vysen Lang has entered the transfer portal for the Volunteers and won't play in the College Football Playoff.
Khalifa Keith, RB
Depth running back Kahlifa Keith is the final player for Tennessee who's in the portal. Keith rushed for 100 yards on 21 carries.
Ohio State
Ohio State has two players in the transfer portal as well as two key injuries. Backup QB Devin Brown is in the transfer portal but will remain with the team.
Kojo Antwi, WR
Depth receiver Kojo Antwi is in the transfer portal after playing just 30 snaps for Ohio State. Antwi recorded just one reception for eight yards.
Gabe Powers, LB
Gabe Powers only played 29 snaps for Ohio State and has entered the transfer portal.
Josh Simmons, LT
Starting left tackle Josh Simmons is out for the season with an injury. Simmons also declared for the NFL Draft as he last played in Week 7.
Seth McLaughlin, C
Starting center Seth McLaughlin is also out for the season, as he last played in Week 12.
