She recently posted a series of pictures of herself on Instagram, while also revealing her objective of being on social media. Loreal wrote in the caption:
"I’m not here to be popular, I am here to be #Purposeful XOLO🤍"
Loreal Sarkisian once faced backlash for dressing Steve Sarkisian
Loreal Sarkisian has a fashion background, and after she got married to Steve Sarkisian, she started to dress him for Texas Longhorns game days. This was not well received by everyone, with some college football fans not being huge fans of the new style of the Texas coach.
During an interview with The Pivot, the Texas coach described how he dealt with the backlash.
"Even on game day, she (Loreal Sarkisian) dresses me on game day, I'll give her that," Steve said. "Not everybody loves what I wear, I like it, she likes it. So we're good. We still go through things. You know, it's a daily process for all of us. She's been there every step of the way, the good, the bad, the ugly, whatever it's looked like. And she's right there every single time."
Steve Sarkisian famously battled alcoholism, which affected his work as coach of the USC Trojans before he was sacked in 2015. He made his way back into football via retired Alabama Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban's famous carwash.
Sarkisian revealed in the interview how Loreal helped build him back after he was thrown to the scrap heap following his struggle with alcohol.
"She was the one that kept reminding me. She was the one, when jobs would come up, she said, I don't think that's the one. I think you're better than that. And I was like, wow, OK, all right," Steve Sarkisian said.
"It was like I needed, I needed some of that, you know, to build my own self-confidence. And then, even going to order times like, because the idea to think that, 'Hey, I did that in 2015', and then I've just, life's been great and perfect since then, we all still have struggles."
Loreal Sarkisian also adopted a much more hands-on approach with the Texas players who, by their own admission, enjoyed the attention and support that she gave them.
