"That's fire": Coach Prime & Co. send Buffs fans into frenzy by releasing Colorado's glittering official offer letter

The Colorado Buffaloes appointed Deion Sanders as their football coach in December 2022. The team recently released a video of the stylish and glittering offer letter it sent Coach Prime to lure him into signing. It's safe to say that Sanders' offer later drew a lot of attention from fans on Instagram, many of whom were left in awe.

"That's fire," one commented.
"They’ve come a long way with offer letters lol," wrote another.

Some joked that they would have committed to Colorado even before opening the letter, due to the style in which the offer was presented.

"Woulda commited before i even opened it," one wrote.
"Yeaaa I would’ve been on twitter, ig and snap sayin im committed," another commented.
"Bruh… I’m coming. # Committed," another fan wrote.

A few others were also impressed by how Colorado marketed the design of the letter to make it more appealing.

Colorado's offer letter to Sanders also included the program's draft picks, first-round picks, Super Bowl winners, and the fact that the Buffaloes won the national championship in 1900. On one side, the team also listed down Sanders' NFL career, MLB career, and coaching achievements with Jackson State.

Per reports, Sanders signed a five-year deal worth up to $29.5 million with Colorado. He also has certain incentives and bonuses in his contract that boost the value of his deal.

The Buffaloes are currently sixth in the Big 12 with a 5-2 record (3-1 in Big 12). Here's a look at Colorado's full schedule for the remainder of the 2024 college football season:

  • Oct. 26: vs. Cincinnati
  • Nov. 2: OFF
  • Nov. 9: at Texas Tech
  • Nov. 16: vs. Utah
  • Nov. 23: at Kansas
  • Nov. 29: vs. Oklahoma State

With another win, the Buffaloes will be eligible to play a bowl game.
