“That’s why yo weak a*s lost”: Coach Prime’s son Deion Sanders Jr. fiercely defends dad amid Coach Satt comparison
Deion Sanders Jr. had some strong words for those who compared his dad Deion Sanders Sr. to Cincinnati coach Scott Satterfield after Colorado beat the Bearcats 34-23 in Week 9 on Saturday. Sanders Jr. fiercely defended 'Coach Prime' when the Barstool Cincinnati X account took a dig at the Buffaloes coach just before the Colorado vs. Cincinnati game began.
"Pure h*e. That’s why yo weak a*s lost. You lame as hell," Sanders Jr. tweeted in response to the Barstool Cincinnati post.
The Barstool Cincinnati X account posted an image comparing Sanders and Satterfield. The tweet mocked Sanders for having eight toes due to his surgeries and for the fact that he hasn't won a Sun Belt championship, a title Satterfield has won thrice albeit with Appalachian State.
The post eventually backfired as Sanders' Colorado took down Satterfield's Cincinnati at Folsom Field on Saturday.
Shedeur Sanders was the star of the show for the Buffs. The signal-caller completed 25 of his 30 passes for 323 yards and threw two touchdowns with no interceptions. He also rushed for one touchdown.
Colorado also clinched a bowl berth with the victory.
Deion Sanders Jr. has been providing exclusive coverage for Colorado this season
Deion Sanders Jr. has been regularly covering and promoting the Colorado Buffaloes on social media this season, mainly because he has family associated with the program. His father Sanders Sr. is the coach of the football team, while his brothers Shilo (safety) and Sheduer (quarterback) are among the key players on the roster.
Sanders Jr. has been providing coverage for the Buffs on his YouTube channel, "Well Of Media." He provides fans with sneak peeks, exclusive interviews and some behind-the-scenes footage of the Colorado football team that has helped grow his channel and business.
It's safe to say that he is also among the first few to defend Colorado and his family from the negativity and criticism on social media.
