"These boys ain't talking sh*t": Deion Sanders Jr. drops eye-catching remark as Cobee Bryant gears up to face Colorado
An exciting Week 13 game between the 16th-ranked Colorado Buffaloes and the Kansas Jayhawks will take place on Saturday afternoon. The matchup of Travis Hunter and cornerback Cobee Bryant is going to be one of the key duels this season.
When talking about defending two-way star Travis Hunter, Kansas cornerback Bryant did not hold back on how he is preparing for this matchup.
"I'm not going to lie, I've been waiting. I already marked this on my notes, I already know this is the game. ... I've been wanting this game all season, this gonna be the game."
After his comments, Deion Sanders Jr. took to X and reposted them with excitement, exclaiming that this is what real competition looks like.
It will be interesting to see which player could win that battle and how often they are matched up against one another. If Bryant is matched up across from Hunter for the whole game, it will be easier to tell if the notes that he took could slow down one of the top players in college football.
What should we expect in Colorado Buffaloes vs. Kansas Jayhawks?
The Colorado Buffaloes are significantly better, when looking at the records, compared to the Kansas Jayhawks, but the Buffs are only three-point favorites.
The Buffaloes are fighting for the Big 12 Championship Game as with two weeks remaining, they are sitting with a game lead in the conference for the second-place spot. But they are in a three-way tie for the overall record with the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Iowa State Cyclones.
Travis Hunter has been a star as a receiver as he has 74 catches for 911 yards with nine receiving touchdowns. Cobee Bryant has been a decent cornerback as, according to Pro Football Focus, he ranks 123rd out of 869 cornerbacks with a 77.3 defensive grade and 217th with a 74.0 coverage grade.
Bryant is elite against the running game and should be in a great spot to improve if the team wants to win.
In terms of the overall game, expect the 16th-ranked Colorado Buffaloes to win as it is the more likely scenario for this Big 12 Conference matchup.
