Growing up with a seven-time national championship-winning coach as a dad wasn't easy, as Kristen has often noted how Nick dedicated much of his life to building the Alabama Crimson Tide into a football powerhouse. In an interview, Kristen said:

Kristen Saban looks forward to new Nick Saban life

After 17 years leading Alabama, Nick Saban retired from football in January at the end of last season. He is now working as an ESPN analyst and was honored with the Icon Award at the 2024 ESPYS last month. Presented by former Alabama Heisman Trophy winners Mark Ingram and Bryce Young, it was a fitting tribute to Saban’s service in Tuscaloosa.

His daughter, Kristen Saban, was in the audience and couldn’t help but beam with pride as she celebrated the moment with a post on Instagram, which was captioned:

"An ICONIC evening. Congratulations to my dad for receiving the Icon Award at last night’s ESPYS. Being able to be here with him to watch him take the stage was a dream. We are so proud of you, Sabes. This is just the beginning of your new dominant chapter. Roll Tide."
