"This is my Super Bowl" - Dillon Gabriel's fiancee Zoe Caswell shares heartwarming past time with Oregon QB

The Oregon Ducks, led by quarterback Dillon Gabriel, have steered themselves to No. 1 in the college football playoff rankings that were released Tuesday. The Ducks are unbeaten (9-0) and are favorites to reach the Big Ten championship game and the playoff.

Gabriel has delivered on his preseason status as one of the favorites for the Heisman Trophy. Off the gridiron, Gabriel recently got engaged to longtime girlfriend Zoe Caswell, whom he started dating during his days with the Oklahoma Sooners.

On Friday, Caswell posted a picture on her Instagram stories of Gabriel during a night in with the heartwarming caption:

"This is my Super Bowl," Caswell wrote.

Gabriel took Caswell with him to Eugene

Gabriel was widely expected to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft where he was expected to have a battle on his hands in one of the most talented quarterback classes in recent memory.

Instead, he entered the transfer portal and joined coach Dan Lanning's Ducks and his then-girlfriend and now-fiancee Caswell followed him to Eugene.

Caswell regularly shared updates on Instagram about how their move to Oregon was going as she immersed herself into the community and in September, the couple got engaged.

When Gabriel left Oklahoma and entered the transfer portal, there was speculation that it was due to the emergence of Jackson Arnold as coach Brent Venable's preferred choice at quarterback.

While Gabriel has thrived in Eugene under Lanning and is making a run at the Heisman Trophy, Arnold has struggled and the Sooners have fallen to 5-4 this season.

During his pre-game news conference ahead of the Sooners Red River rivalry clash against the Texas Longhorns, Venables spoke about why Gabriel left Oklahoma.

"I did not know at that time that he (Gabriel) wasn't going to go to the NFL. ... I didn't even know I had to fight this fight," Venables said. "I didn't even realize that you were even considering coming back. And he says, 'Yeah, but I just want to get closer to home'. We hugged and shook hands. He was a little emotional and I was. It was all really good and positive."

The decision to leave the Oklahoma is increasingly looking like the right one for Gabriel.
