“Too bad he won't be here next year”: CFB fans react as Deion Sanders’ Colorado launches shiny new offer letters
Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes continue to march forward in the 2024 college football season. Now, they are trying to build ahead for the 2025 season, this time with a bold new approach to recruiting.
Boasting an 8-2 record, the Buffaloes are enjoying a solid season, having already secured bowl-eligibility. Coach Prime’s Buffs, who had a tumultuous 4-8 season in 2023, are now looking to make the Big 12 championship game and earn a place in the College Football Playoff.
Ever the showman, Coach Prime has brought his A-game to recruiting efforts in Boulder. The school's new offer letters to recruits scream luxury and innovation. The Colorado football program ditched its previous Louis Vuitton-inspired design as the new offer package features a sleek Nike box containing the letter and a motivational quote from Sanders himself:
"You look good. You feel good. You feel good, you play good. You play good, they pay good!"
However, the internet isn't sold on the shiny packaging. Fans flooded the comments section of an Instagram post with speculation that Deion Sanders might not even stick around Boulder next season.
One fan commented, " Too bad he’ll be gone next year."
Another said, " He’s coaching the raiders next season with his son. lol."
"He won’t be there next year," said another.
"Heard he’s gonna coach the Seahawks next year," one more fan speculated in the comments section.
One more IG user commented, "Iujust heard 5 different NFL teams, yall need to get together and figure out what is true because this isn't it."
"Probably the cowboys if not the raiders," predicted another.
Whether it’s the NFL rumors or his unique recruiting style, one thing’s for sure — "Prime Time" is always the center of attention.

Deion Sanders' Colorado closing in on Oklahoma State's 3-star edge rusher
Coach Prime is making a late push to flip three-star edge rusher Alexander McPherson from Oklahoma State. Since June, McPherson has been committed to the Cowboys and visited Boulder last weekend and was present in the stands, seeing Colorado dominate Utah 49-24.
He’s an IMG Academy standout who praised Colorado’s coaching and mentorship under Sanders.
"What excites me is the great coaching and development, plus the mentorship from guys who’ve been where I want to go,” McPherson told On3.
Having 52 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and eight sacks this season, McPherson’s talent would be a huge boost for Colorado’s 2025 class, currently ranked No. 16 in the Big 12 for recruiting.
However, flipping McPherson won’t be easy, as he’s expressed strong loyalty to Oklahoma State’s culture and coaching staff. The early signing period is right around the corner, and Deion Sanders faces a tight race to land this rising defensive star.
