Top 10 Kyle McCord memes cracking up the internet after terrible interceptions against Pittsburgh
Syracuse Orange starting quarterback Kyle McCord came into Thursday's game against the No. 19 Pittsburgh Panthers riding high on confidence as he led the team to three straight wins before going into the open week.
However, it seems a week of rest didn't turn out well, as he threw the ball for his career-worst five interceptions against the Panthers while contributing zero touchdown passes. Moreover, Kyle McCord could only complete 35-of-64 passes and though he added a rushing touchdown, his overall rushing yardage was -32 yards on nine carries.
Fans on the internet had a field day cracking jokes using memes and GIFS.

Kyle McCord's historically bad first half vs Pittsburgh
The Orange were supposed to lose (as per the odds) but a blowout loss, that too in the fashion how things unfolded, was certainly not anticipated. By halftime, the Panthers were up 31-0 and the blame rested solely on Kyle McCord's shoulders, whose three of four interceptions in the first half were returned for touchdowns by the Panthers' defense.
Furthermore, the opening drive of the game saw McCord's pass being picked by Rasheem Biles, who returned it 35 yards for a touchdown. His second interception came in his second offensive drive, with his pass being intercepted by Brandon George. It was the only interception by the Panthers in the first half that wasn't returned to the end zone.
His third drive also resulted in an interception, this time it was picked off by Pitt's Kyle Louis who returned it for a 59-yard touchdown. Another mistake just before halftime saw McCord being intercepted for the fourth time, resulting in an interception to Braylan Lovelace, who returned it for a 33-yard TD.
The miserable first half performance landed Kyle McCord on the wrong end of history. The Panthers became the first team to register three pick-sixes in one half since FIU threw three in a game against Florida Atlantic in 2005. But that was in the second half.
Moreover, McCord's season interception turned to 11 following Thursday's game. Coming into the matchup he only had six.
After Week 9's game, McCord has now thrown for 2,160 yards on 65.6% pass completion rate, including 19 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
McCord will hope to amend things when the Orange hosts the Virginai Tech Hokies (4-3, 2-1 in ACC) next Saturday at JMA Wireless Dome.
