The college football season is in full swing as the calendar shifts to Week 3. There have already been multiple shocking upsets in the early stages of the season.
While the rankings have gotten a large shakeup as a result, there have been several offenses that have been impressive, standing out as elite units.

The No. 7-ranked Tennessee Volunteers have been elite offensively to open the season. They are averaging 60.0 points per game and 589.0 yards per game, ranking second and fifth in the nation, respectively. The Volunteers will host the Kent State Golden Flashes in Week 3.
#4: Ole Miss Rebels
The No.5-ranked Ole Miss Rebels have, arguably, been the best offense in the nation in the early portion of the season. They have averaged 64.0 points per game and 713.5 yards per game, both of which are the best in the nation. The Rebels will visit the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in Week 3.
#3: Alabama Crimson Tide
The No. 4-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide have been great offensively to open the season. They have averaged 52.5 points per game and 496.5 yards per game, ranking seventh and 23rd in the nation, respectively. The Crimson Tide will go on the road to face the Wisconsin Badgers in Week 3.
#2: Ohio State Buckeyes
The No. 3-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes have been elite offensively through two games. They are tied for fourth in scoring offense and tenth in yards per game, as they have averaged 54.0 points and 543.5 yards per game. Ohio State will host the Marshall Thundering Herd in Week 3.
#1: Georgia Bulldogs
The No.1-ranked Georgia Bulldogs have been dominant on the offensive end through two games. They have scored 41.0 points per game and averaged 472.5 yards per game, ranking 31st and 33rd, respectively.
While their inclusion may come as a bit of a surprise, they were able to move the ball with ease and score at will against the Clemson Tigers, who are viewed as an elite defensive program, in Week 1 and should continue to play well going forward.
